Artist Statement:
Barney-cod is a friendly fish who's always there when you need him. Full of Vitamin Sea, you can sometimes find him bellied up to the bar, telling fish tales and sharing a cold one with his Barney mates. Never a concern about Barney going overboard, he's all about staying out of the frying pan.
Artist Biography:
Brenda Kelley Kim is a freelance writer, author, and journalist who has lived in Marblehead for fifty years. This is her second cod for the Marblehead Festival of Arts. She has a column in the Marblehead Weekly News and is a Senior Writer for WorthPoint, a vintage and antiques website.

Special Instructions
Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 12 from 12-3 and July 13 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sotheby's 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information including pick-up time and location.
If the winning bidder requires shipping, their credit card will be charged a separate $35 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
If the winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, the cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
