Artist Statement:
The cod that I designed for this year's auction is representative of the work that I do for my small business, The Sea By Me. The cod has been decorated with epoxy resin and mica pigment powders to create a gradation of blues and greens and crashing waves that we can see in our Atlantic waters.
Artist Biography:
I am a North Shore artist who has been working with resin for the past 5 years. I hold a degree in illustration and printmaking and have worked in a variety of media. What I love about resin is the movement and fluid designs that are created when the colors are blended together.

Special Instructions
Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 12 from 12-3 and July 13 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sotheby's 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information including pick-up time and location.
If the winning bidder requires shipping, their credit card will be charged a separate $35 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
If the winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, the cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
