Artist Statement:
The 'idea' of this multi-medium cod was created from my love for the ocean and being mindful of taking the time out of our busy lives for ventures that we enjoy, like sailing. Whether a sailor or an enthusiastic spectator, I hope this functional clock will evoke the same joy I had making it!
Artist Biography:
Paula Cardarelli has always had a passion and appreciation for New England landscapes. A self-taught artist, Paula earned a BA in Psychology and a BSN in Nursing. Although she has a career in nursing, much of her free time has been devoted to art.

Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 12 from 12-3 and July 13 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sotheby's 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information including pick-up time and location.
If the winning bidder requires shipping, their credit card will be charged a separate $35 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
If the winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, the cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
