Artist Statement:
For this project, I used the remnants of many sewing projects to construct a quilt-like base and then used metallic thread to add thousands of decorative stitches on top. The finished fish is representative of my love for bright colors and things that sparkle.
Artist Biography:
Over the years, Sally has transformed her textile findings into a collection of clothing and decor. The guiding principle for the fabrics she chooses is sustainability most materials are vintage, second-hand, or remnants.

Special Instructions
Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 12 from 12-3 and July 13 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sotheby's 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information including pick-up time and location.
If the winning bidder requires shipping, their credit card will be charged a separate $35 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
If the winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, the cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
