My cod is assembled using a 3D tumbling block pattern, crafted from exotic hardwoods: Osage Orange North America, Purpleheart Central America, and Argentine Lignum Vitae. I loved the idea of pairing this geometric design with a tide clock to create Tumbling Tides!

Patricia Featherstone is a Marblehead, MA artist working with exotic hardwoods. She's showcasing a handcrafted cod inspired by New England's fishing heritage. Her work highlights the natural beauty of rare woods with a nod to the coastal life that surrounds her.

Special Instructions
Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 12 from 12-3 and July 13 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sotheby's 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information including pick-up time and location.
If the winning bidder requires shipping, their credit card will be charged a separate $35 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
If the winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, the cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
