Switzerland and its neighboring regions - including France’s Haute Savoie, Italy’s Val d’Aosta, western Austria, and southern Germany - are the inspiration behind the dishes at the Matterhorn Restaurant and Bakery. Amidst the busy life of urban San Francisco, we aim to bring the friendliness, quality, adventure and charm of a mountain Stübli to the City.
Our passion is to share with you dishes and baked goods that are made from scratch with the highest quality ingredients and showcase the experience of Swiss on-mountain dining - all in a dining room “chalet” lovingly built years ago by a Swiss family from imported Swiss materials.
The Matterhorn has been a San Francisco institution, and we are proud to bring a fresh new chapter to its iconic story. It’s an honor to have you as our guest at the story’s center".

All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds.
Unless otherwise indicated above, items will need to be picked up by the bidder at either of the following locations/dates:
- September 6, 2025: San Joaquin Swiss Club, 110 North Manley, Ripon, CA 95366
- September 13, 2025: Swiss Park, 5911 Mowry Ave, Newark, CA 94560
Bidders must be 21+ years old to bid.
Shipping and handling charges (if any) must be paid by the bidder.
Payments must be made via credit card. A transaction fee (5%) and a credit card processing fee (3.4% + $0.35) will be added to the bid amount and charged to the bidder’s credit card.
If required under applicable law, sales tax will be added to the bid amount and charged to the successful bidder’s credit card.
All items are sold as is. Any item sold but left unclaimed by October 31, 2025, will be offered to the next highest bidder for purchase at the next highest bid amount. Payments made for unclaimed auction items will not be refunded.
