Box is made of purpleheart hardwood from Amazon Rain Forest, Sao Paulo Brazil to Panama. The box lid is made of blonde Tamarind wood, spalted with black fungus (inactive) from the dry Savannah of Tropical Africa and Florida and Hawaii. The box is 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 4".
