This post and rung stool was made by Dale Kittleson using only hand tools. The wood was split out of a Red Oak log using a wedge and froe. The posts and rungs were shaped on a shaving horse using draw knife, spokeshave and scrapers. The seat is woven with tan, black and green cotton shaker tape.
