Description

"Vintage Silver Brooch with a powerful Viking motif.

Crafted in solid 925 silver, it features a serpent encircling a beast —
symbolizing the eternal struggle between good and evil from Norse mythology. It was crafted in the 1960s-70s from an original artifact found in a Denmark bog. This
Viking pin blends bold symbolism with elegant Scandinavian design, making it a standout piece for any lover of Nordic culture or fine vintage jewelry. The piece was crafted by the David Andersen Company in Oslo. David Andersen (1843-1901) was a silversmithing pioneer and founder of high quality silver and gold artistry in
Norway. He opened the David Andersen Company in Oslo in 1876. His work was carried on by his son and today the shop thrives under the 4th generation of Andersens. The brooch measures 1 1/2"" x 1 5/8"". Display scarf included."
