Artist: Cate Raphael

Cate Raphael has been a professional artist since 2010.

Her inspiration comes from walking the beaches and trails on both the Cape and Nantucket!

 She seeks inspiration from the peaceful, open spaces, absorbing the beauty and serenity of it all, then transferring her perspective onto the canvas.

Her favorite medium is oil on canvas or Acrylic on media paper. Her style is uniquely her own, it could be called non-traditional realism.

Cate was a year round resident of Nantucket since 1978 and has now moved year round to the cape this past winter.

Cate has been told by her collectors that her work gives them a

sense of peace, serenity and joy!

Her love for nature is reflected in her paintings.
