Description

Charming hand-painted porcelain from local artist Kit Cropper's "Housemother Collection." There are eight different designs which the artist calls "architechtural fantasies." All Housemothers are 3-piece sets consisting of the Housemother, the base, and an interior scene. The Housemother lifts off her base to allow you to meet the occupants inside.

"Irene — The Bride" depicts a bear dressed in a beautiful wedding gown holding a corsage. Her skirt forms the chapel-like dwelling, and inside are two bears helping each other dress for the ceremony. "While it is fashionable for the groom to appear late, it is considered bad manners not to appear at all."

Each figure comes with it's own little story. Perfect for anyone who appreciates fantasy and storytelling.

Each of these lovely figurines is cold-cast porcelain, individually numbered and limited to 3800 pieces of each design. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

5" tall x 5 1/4" diameter. Includes 17 bears, 1 bearflower.

Great for gift giving. New in box!
