Description

From local artist Kit Cropper's Housemother Collection, a charming hand-painted work she calls "architechtural fantasy."  Each of these lovely figurines is cold-cast porcelain, individually numbered and limited to 3800 pieces of each design. All Housemothers are 3-piece sets consisting of the Housemother, the base, and an interior scene. The Housemother lifts off her base to allow you to meet the occupants inside.

"Calliope", subtited "The Nanny", depicts a mother pig dressed in aqua and white bending over to engage one of her little charges, who pushes a wagon towards the door. Her skirt is pulled back like curtains over the dwelling, and inside are two bassinets. "Calliope had a deep booming voice like happy thunder and a laugh that resembled a giant steam whistle."

Each figure comes with their own little story and a Certificate of Authenticity. New in box. Great for gift giving!
