Description
1970's Japanese clay pottery girl with a bird on her shoulder. She looks like she is ready to offer birdseed to her visitor, or is inviting the bird to come to her hand.
She is dressed in a traditional kimono. Her clothes, her hair ornament and the bird are glazed, her body is unglazed. Made in Japan for UCTCI (United Ceramic Trading Company International).
Larger than most similar figures — 11.5" tall, 7" wide, 6" deep.
Vintage, but seems to be in perfect condition with no chips.

The winning bidder may pick up this item between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday at the Breast and GYN Health Project, 987 8th Street, Arcata, CA (Next to the Arcata Co-op). We will be closed on November 27th and 28th for Thanksgiving.
