The Highlights Tour ticket package includes the Slavery at Monticello and the Gardens and Grounds guided tours. The Slavery at Monticello guided tour focuses on the experiences of the enslaved people who lived and labored on the Monticello plantation and is open year-round. The Gardens & Grounds guided tour explores the restored gardens, orchard, and grove is open April through October. There is also a fantastic Visitor Center, which includes a 15-minute introductory film, gallery exhibits on Jefferson and Monticello, and a gift shop and café.
