About the Artist:

Ruqayyah attends the Opportunity Zone day program at The Arc of Essex County.  She regularly participates in art sessions at Studio Arc, where she enjoys exploring all kinds of art media, including drawing, painting, printing, and fiber arts. She is a participant in the Entrepreneurship Club at Studio Arc where she has been learning about silk screen printing and artisan crafting. She works well with team of fellow artists and is always open to trying new art projects.  Through her studies, she has excelled in silk screen printing, gel plate printing, and block printing.
