Piece by Piece provides no-cost mosaic art workshops to low-income residents of South Los Angeles, Skid Row, and surrounding areas. These classes provide folks who need it with the healing power of art by teaching them how to make mosaics, and in turn, the trade enables them to earn income through their unique creations.

This is a community piece handmade by Los Angeles-based certified mosaic artists. Community pieces are often class projects which focus on particular skills or are created at an event where local residents get a chance to participate in a mosaic, and are then finished by their social enterprise artists.
