This exclusive 90-minute experience for six begins with safely suiting up to open a live hive and watching the bees at work. Afterwards, enjoy a guided honey tasting with honey pulled straight from the hive, alongside curated selections from Alabama and around the world.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the unique properties of honey and experience the thrill of opening a living beehive. The experience also includes a private tour of Foxhound Bee Companys brand-new 5,000 sq. ft. beekeeping store and education center in Irondale, right next to Ruffner Park and Ruffner Mountain.

This event will be scheduled at your convenience during the spring when temperatures allow us to safely open a hive.
