Shoes will be worn during WNBA game on August 1st vs. Los Angeles Sparks and autographed postgame. Shoes are size 10 Adidas D.O.N. 6. Custom sneakers designed and hand painted by artist Takiyah Ward at Re-Sole 206.
These shoes highlight the value of public media and Alysha's passion for protecting it, highlighting popular public media programming. One shoe features Reading Rainbow, National Public Radio (NPR) and Clifford the Big Red Dog. The other shoe features Curious George, PBS, and Arthur.
Special Instructions
If present in the arena, the winning bidder may pick up the shoes in person from AC immediately after the game on August 1st. Winners will be emailed immediately upon conclusion of the auction and given instructions on where to meet Storm staff for this opportunity if they are at Climate Pledge Arena. Identification must be provided and payment completed prior to receiving the shoes.
Winners not present in the arena on August 1st may pick up from a Storm staff on a different date, or have the shoes shipped. Please note, shipping fees will be added if you request your item to be shipped.
