Shoes will be worn during WNBA game on August 1st vs. Los Angeles Sparks and autographed postgame. Shoes are size 9.5 Reeboks. Custom sneakers designed and hand painted by artist Takiyah Ward at Re-Sole 206.
These shoes highlight the need for greater Crohn's disease awareness. Lexi has been open about her own battle with Crohn's since her diagnosis in 2023, and is a outspoken advocate, sharing her story and working to increase awareness and support. The shoes are all over purple - the color associated with Crohn's disease awareness - with small purple flowers and purple awareness ribbons on each toe. In small script lettering are the words "Unwavering Hope" on one shoe and "Crohn's Disease Awareness" on the other.
Special Instructions
If present in the arena, the winning bidder may pick up the shoes in person from Lexie immediately after the game on August 1st. Winners will be emailed immediately upon conclusion of the auction and given instructions on where to meet Storm staff for this opportunity if they are at Climate Pledge Arena. Identification must be provided and payment completed prior to receiving the shoes.
Winners not present in the arena on August 1st may pick up from a Storm staff on a different date, or have the shoes shipped. Please note, shipping fees will be added if you request your item to be shipped.
