Erik Wigert started Wigert’s Bonsai in 2003 on Pine Island, Florida. Bonsai was initially a hobby for Erik, that later turned into a growing small business.

He developed a passion for this art, and has an appreciation for the beauty in each tree. The nursery presently is located in North Fort Myers on a beautiful 6 acre property. We are currently one of the country’s largest full service bonsai nursery.

We are certified to ship our bonsai to anywhere in the United States. Our experts will hand select healthy plants to fulfill your order. Whether it is a new addition for yourself- or a gift for a friend or family member, we take great pride in our ability to surpass your expectations. Choose from ceramic bonsai pots from around the world all available on one website. We also carry a full line of Mica and plastic training pots. Chinese and Japanese tools are available. Your pots and supplies will be carefully packed to ensure a safe arrival. Orders are shipped as they are received to ensure a timely arrival.
