See towering California Coastal Redwoods from two historic railroads at Roaring Camp, a reproduction of an 1800’s logging camp in the Santa Cruz mountains.

The Roaring Camp Redwood Forest Train gives you a 75-minute ride on a narrow-gauge railway through an old-growth redwood forest, with a brief stop atop Bear Mountain where you can disembark and enjoy the views. Your conductor narrates along the route, giving you fascinating information about the locomotive, the forest and local history.

The Roaring Camp Santa Cruz Beach Train operates from April to September, with an hour-long trip through Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, along a river gorge, through the streets of Santa Cruz, ending at the Boardwalk amusement park and beach at the northern end of beautiful Monterey Bay.
