Pasture Bedtime celebrates the rich history of quilting in America. This cow was designed in the tradition of a crazy quilt, which offers many opportunities for whimsical details and eye-catching color choices. Pasture Bedtime is a painted fiberglass hollow statue with a removable wood base.
About the Artist: Elinor Ives is an oil painter based in Massachusetts; she dedicates her artistic practice to capturing the ethereal beauty of natural landscapes and is inspired by Earth’s diversity. Through her art, she hopes to evoke a sense of serenity, where viewers escape into a calming, dream-like world. Upon her daughters' departure for college, she rekindled her passion for painting and has since sold over 100 pieces through various juried art shows, on Etsy, and at the local Harvest Festival in Sturbridge.
