FUNDAMENTALS OF SOCIAL DANCING

*This class is for 2 left footers & absolute beginners*

In our Fundamentals of Social Dancing course, you will learn the basic fundamentals of ANY social dance. From alignment to stepping, you will learn how to hold your body, step with grace, find rhythm and time, develop spatial and kinesthetic awareness and understand music. Let us show you how to dance with this class! We offer this course several times a year.

What to Expect:

Our Fundamentals class is for EVERYONE- and we mean EVERYONE! Come as you are, make friends, and walk away a dancer. This class is required for you to attend our other social dancing classes if you have no formal dance instruction.

- Taught in Spanish & English
- No partner needed, LGBT+ friendly
- Come as you are! Sneakers welcome.
- NO dance experience necessary! Two-left-footers welcome!

Our Next Fundamentals course will be taught in January 2026, though we are offering a semi-structured Fundamentals Practice in May.
