DrumForFun Staunton! is a small community of hand drummers who love to learn, play and celebrate West African rhythms on traditional West African Instruments.  Newcomers are always welcomed.  All drums are provided.

Your free private lesson will cover all the basics for playing two types of drums in a fun and relaxed format.  The Djembe is a beautiful wooden drum covered in goat skin that is played with both hands.  The Djuns are bigger, cylindrical drums played with sticks.  This type of percussionis a relaxing-yet energizing, happy-making activity that anyone can enjoywithout having any musical knowledge or skills whatsoever.  We can provide it to you - just come and try it out!

Not only do we drum for FUN, but we also drum for GOOD!  We give free performances at worthy cause events, and when we do get paid or receive tips, we donate all the proceeds to a good cause.
