One individual 45-min lesson with Sean Pawling on any of the following instruments: beginning to advanced guitar, ukulele, trombone, trumpet, or voice. Beginning violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, recorder, or bells. Lessons can take place at his residence or on Zoom. Kids or adults welcome. —

Sean Pawling is a proud La Ballona parent. He is a multi-instrumentalist and certificated teacher who has taught elementary music in Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District for 14 years. He also directed Samohi's Jazz Band II for six years and has provided instruction for all six instruments in SMMUSD's Elementary Mariachi program since its inception. He holds a M.M. from USC, a B.A. in Music from UCLA, and attended the Colburn School under special invitation. As a trombonist, Mr. Pawling has performed with artists/groups such as LA Opera, Matt Costa, Golden State Pops Orchestra, and more. He is an active singer-songwriter who has released two full-length albums and spent five summers touring with his band from California to Nashville.
