This one-of-a-kind washboard from Pirates! The Penzance Musical was used on stage as an instrument and is signed by Tony Award winner David Hyde Pierce. In the production, Pierce played the roles of William S. Gilbert and Major General Stanley. Beyond the stage, he is beloved for his four-time Emmy Award-winning role as Dr. Niles Crane on TV’s Frasier.
