Description

Stay at Park Farm House on the Chatsworth Estate

A stay at Chatsworth gives you unrivalled access to everything the Peak District has to offer. Experience a peaceful getaway in your very own rural retreat.

  • A week’s stay at Park Farm House on the Chatsworth Estate for up to six guests, subject to availability.

  • Multi-entry tickets to Chatsworth are included which allow guests to access the house, gardens, farmyard and playground as often as they’d like throughout their stay

The private winding track to Park Farm House passes through Stand Wood before opening up to reveal the cottage, positioned within meadows and woodland. During your stay, enjoy direct access to Beeley Moorland and the Chatsworth Estate, with Chatsworth House and Garden just a short drive away.

Park Farm House was refurbished in 2023, having previously been a working farmhouse. The interiors feature locally quarried fossil kitchen worktops, hand-blocked wallpaper and lights made from oil lamps found in Chatsworth stores. Recently featured in House & Garden Magazine, the garden was reimagined by designer Emily Erlam to include rustic stone paths and low-maintenance plantings that blend beautifully with the landscape.

More Details

Chatsworth House

Chatsworth is home to the Devonshire family and has been passed down through 17 generations.

Chatsworth House is renowned for its art, landscape and hospitality, and has evolved through the centuries to reflect the tastes, passions and interests of succeeding generations of the Devonshire family.

Today, Chatsworth is cared for by a registered charity, Chatsworth House Trust, which preserves the house, garden and parkland for everyone to enjoy, and cares for the Devonshire Collections; works of art that span 4,000 years, from ancient Roman and Egyptian sculpture, and masterpieces by Rembrandt, Reynolds and Veronese, to work by outstanding modern artists, including Lucian Freud, Edmund de Waal and David Nash.

There are over 25 rooms to explore, including the magnificent Painted Hall, regal State Rooms, restored Sketch Galleries and atmospheric Sculpture Gallery.
