Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo, located in Bridgeport, is the state's only zoo and has been delighting visitors since 1922. Spanning 51 acres within Beardsley Park, it houses over 350 animals from more than 100 species, primarily from North and South America, and is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA)
