Description

Stonehaven on the Delaware, just two hours from NYC, is a charming 3 bed, 2 bath, 2 powder room home with access to the Delaware River and Narrow Falls Brook. Built in the 1930s, this beautiful bluestone built property boasts 1000 feet of river frontage, expansive windows showcasing stunning views of the Western Catskills and the Pocono mountains, laptop friendly workspaces, fireplaces, TVs, a gazebo and a patio with outdoor furniture & new sauna.

Upon entering, to the left is a spectacular great room with a vaulted ceiling, large stone fireplace and a 14-foot floor-to-ceiling window offering stunning views of the mountains and Delaware River. It features a built-in library bookcase, laptop friendly work area, Steinway baby-grand piano, Martin acoustic guitar and a carefully curated vinyl record collection.

This spectacular home sleeps 10 guests in three bedrooms. Both guest bedrooms have two queen sized beds, TVs, large windows with lovely views complemented by elegant wooden furniture. The master bedroom presents a king sized bed, TV, fireplace, large windows and French doors that open to the stone patio.

For remote work, the home is equipped with fast fiber internet and a home office setup. A home generator ensures continuous power, and a brand-new central A/C and heat pump system keeps the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

There is a spacious open-air bluestone patio with elegant black metal dining tables, lounge chairs, and a BBQ grill. The gazebo and nearby Breeo firepit with Adirondack chairs offer views of the river—the perfect spots to sit and enjoy the scenery. Guests can fish in the river or take a swim with the provided life jackets.

For ultimate relaxation, a new sauna has been added, providing a warm retreat after a day outdoors. Set in a picturesque and serene setting, Stonehaven on the Delaware is designed for relaxation and enjoying the natural beauty, ideal for those who appreciate rustic elegance and seclusion.

A short walk down the hill from the property leads to a wide, flat riverbank with 1000 feet of frontage along the Upper Delaware River, part of the National Park Service. This section of the river is renowned for its crystal-clear waters, offering some of the best fishing in the Northeast, along with kayaking, boating, and exploring its smooth waters or stony rapids.

The charming town of Narrowsburg, named one of Travel & Leisure’s "10 Best Small Towns to Spend a Summer Vacation," is just a 10-minute drive away. There, you'll find excellent restaurants, a wine bar, a brewery, coffee shops, boutiques, antique stores, art galleries, and a well-curated bookstore. For music lovers, the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, site of the historic 1969 Woodstock Music Festival, is just a half-hour drive away. Golfers can enjoy the 18-hole, par-72 Woodloch Pines Golf Course, and spa enthusiasts can unwind at the Lodge at Woodloch, both just 30 minutes away in Pennsylvania.

Whether you're seeking outdoor exploration, relaxation or a taste of local culture, Stonehaven on the Delaware is ideal for those who appreciate nature and a laid-back lifestyle.

Dates subject to availability. This gift certificate is good through November 21, 2026.

Stonehaven on the Delaware is just 2 hours from New York City. A car is essential for getting there and exploring the area. The main access routes are the NJ-15 S, US-206 and I-78 E. Public transportation is available in nearby Port Jervis (30 minutes away), where both the Short Line bus from Port Authority and the NJ Transit train from Penn Station stop. We strongly recommend a 4x4 or a car with four-wheel drive, especially in winter, to handle snow and gravel roads.

The house has a Level 2 Tesla EV charger.
