You and three friends will have the chance to hear her live on May 8, 2026 in the most famous hall in America, Carnegie Hall. 

She is equally celebrated for her boundless curiosity and insight into the untold stories and musical traditions that shape American identity. In this performance, Giddens explores the history of early American music from the birth of the banjo in the early 1700s through its prevalence in minstrelsy and the rise of the early recording industry, tracing artistic connections from Nigeria to the piedmont of North Carolina, from the Congo to Louisiana, and beyond.
