Artist: Christopher Sainato

Chris Sainato (b. 1992) is a contemporary American artist based in New York City, recognized for his bold collage and mixed media work. Originally from Albany, NY, he studied Fine Art at Union College and has spent over a decade at Vineyard Vines, where he is currently Director of Graphics. His artwork often incorporates vintage newsprint, connecting contemporary compositions with real fragments of American history to create layered meaning and texture. Sainato’s work is held by private collectors, displayed in public spaces, and most recently earned him induction into the Albany Academy Hall of Fame for the Arts in 2025.
