Artist: Margot Datz

Margot Datz is a beloved island artist, well known for her many public works throughout the island, such as The Old Whaling Church, The VH and OB ferry terminals, The MV Hospital, the MV YMCA, The Flying Horses, the Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, and Chilmark Children's Libraries, and many more. A fine artist as well, her annual summer show at the Grange has become a yearly celebration. She illustrated 4 books for Carly Simon, and penned and illustrated her own book, "A Survival Guide for Landlocked Mermaids", making her a mermaid expert.
