Artist:  Danae Lenda

Danae Lenda is an acrylic painter from Cape Cod, currently based in San Francisco. She grew up visiting the Vineyard frequently to see her grandparents. For the last two summers, she has the pleasure of returning to the East Coast to teach the children’s art classes at the Old Sculpin Gallery, which has influenced her art practice and inspired her immensely. Her work is characterized by a joyful and bold use of color, capturing anything that moves her to pick up a brush. She exhibits her work throughout San Francisco, where she is a member of City Art Cooperative Gallery.
