Elmer Farm is a sought-after, long running, certified organic vegetable farm located on Case Street in East Middlebury. In addition to a successful Summer CSA program, they also offer a Winter CSA. Members come to the farm each week from mid-October until mid-December to pack a share. Members choose items from four different groups of vegetables. The Winter CSA is self serve in the coolers Wednesday through Friday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Here is a list of the crops that are offered: arugula, beets, bok choy, cabbage (green and red), carrots, celery, chard, cilantro, escarole, garlic, hakurei turnips, kale, leeks, lettuce, napa cabbage, onions (red, yellow), parsley, parsnips, potatoes, pumpkins, radishes, radicchio, rutabaga, scallions, spinach, sweet potatoes, turnips and winter squash.
