Your year-long Friends and Family membership grants unlimited admission to all 5 of Lakeshore Keepers lighthouses for two people for one calendar year, PLUS free climbs for up to four additional guests at any light with a membership card.

The membership also includes monthly e-newsletters, three printed newsletters, a window decal, PLUS both individuals on the membership are eligible to be a volunteer resident keeper!

About Lakeshore Keepers

The mission of Lakeshore Keepers is to preserve, promote, educate the public, and make our lighthouses accessible to all.

The association was formed in 1987 by a small group of local Ludington residents, led by Mr. Dick Smith, dedicated to restoring and preserving Big Sable Point Lighthouse, located in the beautiful Ludington State Park. 

They have grown considerably from their humble beginnings and now have operating agreements with the State of Michigan DNR to manage, restore, and maintain Big Sable and Little Sable Point Lighthouses. Also, the City of Ludington for Ludington North Breakwater Light, the City of Manistee for Manistee North Pierhead Light, and Fruitland Township for White River Light Station.
