Enjoy an exclusive, private family tour of Huntington Harbor Lighthouse located on the inside shore of Long Island Sound.
This unique lighthouse was constructed 1912 and features a Venetian Renaissance (Beaux Art) style which makes the light look like a small castle. An octagonal lantern gallery sits atop a two-story tower where the lantern originally housed a fifth order Fresnel lens. The tower height is 48 feet tall with the focal plane of the light at 42 feet above mean high water.
At the present time, a modern LED pancake shape light, powered by solar panels located on the watch deck, serves as the Huntington Harbor Lighthouse’s active signaling device.
