Description

If “climb every mountain” is on your bucket list, it’s time to add MT KILIMANJARO! In the country of Tanzania, just 205 miles from the equator and near the border of Kenya, it has been suggested that walking from the bottom of the mountain to the top is like walking from the equator to the North Pole-- in terms of the climate zones you pass through. Being the tallest mountain in Africa gives Mt. Kilimanjaro the status of being one of the “Seven Summits” – the highest mountain on each of the seven continents. It is also the highest “free-standing” mountain in the world.

Winning bidders will enjoy 5 days/ 4 nights for TWO (2) trekking the Marungu route to Zebra rocks and the base of Mawenzi Peak—nearly 13,000ft above sea level.** Two nights on the mountain, with porters carrying all your necessities, chef prepared abundant & healthy meals, hut accommodations.  The climb is “book-ended” by 2 nights (one pre-trek and one post) at the exquisite Lake Duluti Lodge in Arusha, B&B, with a $120 credit toward a well-earned post trek spa treatment!  Bid Bid Bid!
