Starting on November 12, 2025, Melrose Humane Society will be auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to bid on to raise money for our organization - and the more items we have the more money we can raise, so we're asking for your help.

This year, Melrose Humane Society has seen an incredibe increase in animals being left behind by owners who could no longer afford them. We get the call, we do our best to respond. They are left in empty apartments or houses without food or water, left outside to fend for themselves or abandoned in a number of places or their owners passed away or went to a nursing facility.  Many of these animals came in with needing to be updates on vaccines, unneutered or unspayed and some with serious medical and dental issues. Each year, its getting harder and harder to keep up with the animals that we're asked to assist.

We're running our online auction a little differently this time around. The items are "BUY NOW" instead of bidding and hoping you're not outbid at the last minute on an item you really wanted. All items will be shipped from the post office within 7 days of the auction closing. The items are priced to include shipping costs. They should arrive in plenty of time for the holidays.

If you don't see something you like, there are a few places where you can make a cash donation to help with supplies for our foster homes or help us with the veterinarian bills. Melrose Humane Society and the cats in our care would like to thank your for supporting us again this year
