David Charlowe has been a professional photographer and artist throughout his thirty year career. Spending the past nineteen years in Columbus capturing the practical and realistic side of life in his commercial photography, he chooses to focus on 'inner' realism though his paintings.

"I consider myself a colorist and expressionist, and I try to capture the world in paint differently then I would approach it in a photograph. I am not concerned with my paintings being deep or serious statements. I just want them to be fun, textual and have lots of color--in other words, eye candy for your walls."

David's work has been shown and collected in Columbus, as well as New York, Palm Beach, Ft. Meyers and Sarasota.
