Chad Sines was born in Newark, Ohio in 1974. After graduating from vocational school, he worked construction and then in restaurants. Sines has no formal art training, but has painted on an off since childhood. He has no idea where the images of animals, crowns, mysterious red squares, and heavy areas of negative space come from...he just feels compelled to get them down on paper and wood. Chad had his first show at Lindsay Gallery in January 2002.
