Sidney Chafetz, emeritus professor of art at The Ohio State University, received his professional training at the Rhode Island School of Design, L'Ecole des Beaux Arts, Fontainebleau, the Academe Julian, Paris, and with artists Fernand Leger and Stanley W. Hayter. He has been regularly represented in major print exhibitions since 1947, including one-man shows in Paris, New York and other cities in the United States and foreign countries.
