Christopher Herren explores the industrial and urban landscape, with an interest in trains, graffiti and city objects. By playing with materials and techniques, the artist's commentary is as much about painting as it is about our environment. Originally from New Orleans, Herren received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Atlanta College of Art. After a number of years in Columbus, Ohio, the artist has returned to Atlanta. Herren has been represented by the Rebecca Ibel Gallery since 1999.
