Known in the Japanese artistic community as "Keyo," Keiko Terada creates art from poems she learned in her childhood at Gakuhozan Nemsoji Sato, a temple on the West Coast of Japan. Keiko is a "sensei," or teacher, of calligraphy to students as young as 5 years of age. This scroll was the work of her well-trained hand.
