Roberta Chiarella began her design training at an early age and after studying at Parson's School of Design in New York worked as an art director and package designer. Her transition from creative director to jewelry designer was completed when her handmade early work was honored in a group exhibition at The American Craft Museum in New York City. Her work has been featured in all of the top fashion magazines and in film and television. Her 2004 collection is featured in the Time Life book, Expecting Style.
