Description

This is the 4' x 10' welcoming banner displayed at the 7th Annual Leroy Winters Memorial ISDT Reunion Ride, held in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the 48th ISDT which was the first American International Six Day Trial. The 48th ISDT was held in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts September 17 through 22, 1973. The banner bears the signatures of more than a hundred Six Day veterans, vintage enduro bike riders, and event organizers, including: Bill Berroth, Joe Bolger, Dick Burleson, Chris Carter, Don Cichochi, Paul Clipper, Carl Cranke, Paul Danik, Greg Davis, David Eames, Marie Eames, Jeff Fredette, Heff Hammond, Bob Hicks, Jim Hollander, Teddy Landers, Kevin Lavoi, John Leone, Bruce Lenz, Ken McGuire, Dick Mann, Dave Mungenast, Ray Mungenast, Jack Penton, Jeff Penton, John Penton, Ron Ribolzi, Drew Smith, Malcolm Smith, Don Stover, Brian Taylor, Stellan Tingstrom, Bill Uhl, Charlie Vincent, Alan Wickstrand, Doug Wilford, and others. It is unlikely that so much American off-road talent will ever be gathered again in a single location, and this is the historic evidence it happened.
