Description: The idea for this painting sprang from some thoughts about sizes of things in the natural world. The Black Rhino, one of the largest Land Mammals and one of the most endangered, with her two week old calf, contrasted against an old Baobab, surely a behemoth among tree species seemed an ideal way to deal with this business of large things in nature.
