Bud Cox has sixteen years tennis teaching and coaching experience as a USTA, USPTA, GPTA, and ALTA lime member. Bud was ranked number one in the state of Georgia in each top year of his junior age group. He played at Auburn University where he was on the All-Southeastern Conference team for two years. He has competed in fifteen grand slam events including Wimbledon, the US Open, the French Open, and the Australian Open. Bud played against several top ten players including Andre Agassi and John McEnroe.
