Description
In 2004, SF Giants OF Barry Bonds won his fourth straight National League Most Valuable Player Award and the seventh one in his brilliant career. For the 2nd straight year, Bonds led the National League in batting average (.369), slugging percentage (.812) and on-base percentage (.609) and finished fourth in the league in home runs (45). And all at the ripe old age of 40! In 2004 Barry made his 13th All-Star Game appearance. He also joined Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron in the 700 Home Run Club! The most dominating player in the game, Barry completely changes the way teams play against the Giants. Opponents will pitch around him any chance they can and when he does get to hit (Pitch to Barry!), teams often put on a dramatic shift against him, employing three infielders on the right side of second base. An eight-time Gold Glove Award winner, Barry still plays excellent position defense and his arm is as accurate as any left fielder's in baseball. Perhaps the best to have ever played the game, get this very cool hand-signed Giants Jersey, quality framed in thick black wood, UV-protective glass, and black suede matting. Approximately 38"w x 44"h in size (framed), Barry's signature in silver sharpie never looked better than on this black Giants jersey. A great gift for any baseball fan and a great investment in a player who will most likely be known as the Home Run King before his career is over. Click here to view a larger picture of this item.
