You get picked up just outside the VIP tents, right around the start finish line. Basically you get to do a lap of the course with the team cars and race marshal. The best part has been in years past, they've pulled over on Fillmore Street where there are thousand of spectator 5 deep from the curb. The noise and energy are amazing. Once the rides near the crest they take off down the decent trying to stay ahead of the riders who are reaching 50 miles an hour.



It really is an amazing thing to be able to speed around the city and all it's hills, on a close course, at high speeds with 500,000 people lining the course, screaming and cheering.
