Description
In the world of high-level ski competition, Wendy Fisher is all about been-there, done-that.
The California native, who cut her ski edges as a youth at legendary Squaw Valley, spent seven years with the U.S. Ski Team, chasing World Cup points around the globe, and earned a spot on the '92 Winter Olympic team.
After leaving the national team in the mid-1990s, Fisher's competitive spirit led her to Crested Butte and the realm of extreme skiing, in which she won two world titles and dominated the pro tour in 1998.
Throw in some Gravity Games and X-Games experience and extreme skiing movie making for the likes of Matchstick Productions and Warren Miller, and there's nothing Fisher hasn't sampled in the high-stakes, high-speed, high-adrenalin world of cutting-edge skiing.
Now Fisher offers the opportunity to pass on her knowledge and expertise to young females ages 11 to 17 with the introduction of her innovative FishSki girls camps.
The FishSki girls camps are weekend "JAM" style sessions for girls in freeskiing.
The 1st day is Big Mountain skiing & the 2nd day is in Terrain Park.
Our Mission at FishSki
FishSki's mission is to provide a progressive, comfortable, accessible and inspiring environment for girls to excel in the sport of freeskiing while maintaining the highest level of mentoring.
